  • MICHIGAN: Michigan will give Macomb County $72 million in Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funds to improve water quality and reduce the risk of future sinkholes and basement flooding. The funds come from Michigan’s $4.8 billion infrastructure bill, $4.2 billion of which comes from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. [story]

  • MONTANA: Seven tribal colleges in Montana have received more than $34 million in Americans Rescue Plan funds that will provide more students an affordable path to higher education and bring more employment opportunities to rural communities. [story]

  • INDIANA: Indianapolis Public Schools will use $15 million in American Rescue Plan funds to support teachers and staff by giving raises and expanding access to mental health resources. [story]

  • TENNESSEE: Johnson City will invest over $13 million in American Rescue Plan funds to improve emergency service facilities and expand access to high-speed broadband. [story]

  • ARIZONA: Phoenix City Council approved $9 million in American Rescue Plan funds to expand mental health resources – including transition housing, counseling, and substance abuse treatment – for residents who are uninsured or underinsured. [story]
