NEW POLL: 73% OF VOTERS SUPPORT AMERICAN JOBS PLAN — INCLUDING 57% OF REPUBLICANS
73% of Voters, Including 67% of Independents and 57% of Republicans, Support the Proposed $2.25 Trillion American Jobs Plan
More Than 60% of Voters Support Every Potential Provision of The Build Back Better Plan
WASHINGTON, D.C. — A vast majority of voters support the proposed American Jobs Plan, according to a new poll released today by Invest in America and Data For Progress. The poll found that by a +52 point margin, voters support the $2.25 trillion American Jobs Plan, including 73% of all voters and 57% of Republicans.
“The results are in — and voters overwhelmingly support the American Jobs Plan, a major investment in infrastructure, manufacturing, clean energy, and care,” said Maddy McDaniel, communications director for Invest in America. “Voters from across the political spectrum know that large-scale public investment will boost our economy, create millions of high paying jobs, and ensure our nation is prosperous and competitive in the future.”
More than 60% of voters support every potential provision of the proposed American Jobs Plan in areas including physical infrastructure, clean energy, manufacturing, housing, and the care economy. The poll was conducted of 1,209 voters from April 2-5.
